How do you join stitches in the round?

I am trying to learn how to join stitches in the round so I can make a hat or other things that I don't have to sow up. Or even have a hole in it seems from where I am learning it I can't the directions arever messed up.every where es I go online they don't have any thing they have it. They have join in they round but not joining stitches in the round. Even when I go on youtoub. How do you do this and if some one can go on this web site it is called Joining When Knitting In The Round - on this web site KnitWiki.Enplane to me the steps they are messing me up. Or just enplane how to do it or a web site I can find how to do this that would be grate. I really don't have any one I can ask about this so if some one can help me out that would be grate thanks.
