How do you get rid of acne?

my ladyfriend hides her forehead with hats alot and hair and she has acne and shes really pretty but then again she has acne its noticeable since were not aloud to whare hats in school but no one makes fun of her and she has a boyfriend and she has lots of friends i notice it getting worse and its not all the bad it just scattered and i really wanna help here before its too late, and no theres no need for a doctor for this since its really not that bad, please help
